Big Loser

I got weighed and measured at the gym today. Kathee, one of the trainers, has agreed to weigh and measure me each month to keep me accountable and help me figure out how to change up my workouts to keep having success. So today was the 4th month she's done this. As of today, from my highest, I have lost 15 pounds. But what she was more impressed with, is that I have lost 20 inches when you add hips, waist, abdomen, chest, shoulders, thighs. And my body fat has gone down by 6.6. Kathee was so happy that she went to the owner of the gym and asked him if she could give me a special t-shirt. He went in the back room and got me a "I Lost It" shirt. It is aqua blue, my favorite color. Anyway this was a fun visit! I also asked Kathee to show me a couple of new machines, so we added two upper body and two leg machines to my workout. I haven't been able to do much else besides ride the stationary bike and weight lift in the last two weeks because everything else hurts my ankle (classes, treadmill, elliptical, etc). So it will be nice to have a couple of new machines to add in to shake things up. I'm going to try to get to a yoga class on Friday and see if that hurts or not. Kathee keeps telling me yoga will change my life. So far it just convinces me that yoga was NOT meant for overweight people. But maybe that's how it is supposed to change me!

And yes, this is when being a "big loser" or that you "lost it" is a GOOD thing! ;-)
